Elitecore Technologies taps opportunity in hospitality

To provide secured Wi-Fi internet solutions

NUPUR SINGH - New Delhi

Anticipating great opportunities in the hospitality sector, Elitecore Technologies has launched its Wi-Fi service for the hotel industry. Elaborating on the plans, Nikhil Jain, director and COO, Elitecore Technologies said, "The hospitality industry in India is growing and as a company of managed internet services, we look forward to tap this sector. With an all inclusive Wi-Fi solution and a single point of contact, our service will enable hotels to offer internet service to the guests and will offer an avenue of returns in terms of revenue without any additional investment." Launched under the division 24online, it aims to be a flexible business model for the hotels on a revenue sharing basis. Also, the industry has requirements for a Wi-Fi solution as per the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) norms.

Elitecore Technologies provides billing and bandwidth management solution to the hotels. According to Jain, the Wi-Fi solution offered would relieve the hoteliers of the task of approaching several vendors for components and services involved and would help them focus more on the business. The basic merits of this system include: A single point of contact for hotels, no investment and no maintenance. Moreover, fitting in the frame of providing comfort to the guests it does not involve manual interactions and is equipped with automated configurations. The company is providing this service through a number of channel partners.

Targetting the existing and upcoming hotels, the company wishes to widen further its channel base. "As the service could be availed through the channel partners our company is planning to increase the number of channel partners to 45 having strong technical knowledge of market to cater to the hospitality sector," Jain informed. The company plans to broaden its scope in the hospitality industry with its tailor-made IT products. He added, "We are looking forward to come up with IPTV and voice over solutions as well for the hospitality industry in the near future once this service is operational all over India."
