Express B2B mega exhibition attracts the right target audience

A mega exhibition organised by The Indian Express at the MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai recently, attracted over 400 exhibitors across the hospitality, travel and tourism and healthcare segments collectively. The three-day event under HospitalityWorld, TravelWorld and HealthcareWorld was inaugurated by Shaina NC, fashion designer and BJP spokesperson for Maharashtra. The exhibition also saw the presence of Sameer Bhujbal, Member of Parliament, actor and restaurateur Suniel Shetty, models Rahul Dev and Milind Soman - also partners of Delhi-based Breathe, a fitness centre.

The exhibition witnessed strong support from participants such as Unilever Foods, Samsung, LG, VingCard Elsafe, IFB, Thomas Cook, Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Egypt Tourism, MakeMyTrip, SOTC, Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide amongst many others. As part of the exhibition, a special mock-up hotel room was set up by IDEEN, a design solutions firm in addition to the state-of-the-art operation theatre mock-up room set up by Hosmac, a hospital planning & management consultancy company.

The respective trade exhibitions, held from January 21-23, 2010 featured various workshops and seminars including Spa and Wellness World 360°, the Great Indian Culinary Challenge, Hospitality Think Tank and the Travel Think Tank. Some of the speakers at the event included S P Jain of Pride Group of Hotels, Vithal Kamat of Kamat Hotels India, Rajeev Kohli from Creative Travels & India Convention Promotion Bureau (ICPB) and Sudhir Patil of Kesari Tours.
