Novotel to launch in Mumbai

International hotel chain Novotel is set to make a debut in Mumbai with the launch of the Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach. The soft launch is scheduled for July 2009. This is Novotel's third hotel in India after Novotel Hyderabad Airport and Novotel Hyderabad. Heinz Egli has been appointed as GM to spearhead operations of the hotel. Spread over 2.5 acres, Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach will feature 203 guest rooms and suites.

Speaking about the hotel's brand and company, Jean-Michel Casse, VP - Accor India, said, "The Indian market holds great promise for Accor Hospitality and its brands and we remain committed to opening 15 Novotel hotels in India by 2012."
