Jungle Lodges & Resorts implements CRS

Gayatri Vijaykumar - Bangalore

Jungle Lodges & Resorts, a Government of Karnataka undertaking which runs 16 properties across Karnataka, has introduced an integrated Central Reservation System (CRS). Speaking at the inauguration of the CRS, N D Tiwari, its MD, said, "We were getting complaints because we were unable to accommodate all reservation enquiries. The online reservation system will help us ease the pressure."

The system has been developed in collaboration with CRS Technologies India, Bangalore. Developed at a cost of Rs 5 lakh, it would enable both tourists and travel agents to access the reservation system from any remote location. "The system will facilitate agents to process reservations online without any additional transaction costs. There is also a facility which reminds agents of pending payments," said Neelkanth P, MD of CRS Technologies.
