Krizm Hotels to open hotel management school in Pune

Dinkar Farwaha - New Delhi

CMD, Lemon Tree Hotels

Manpower crunch in the industry has driven yet another hospitality chain to set up its own hotel management institute. Krizm Hotels, the parent company of upscale chain Lemon Tree Hotels and economy chain Red Fox Hotels, has announced plans to open one in Pune in two to three years' time.

Says Patu Keswani, CMD of Lemon Tree Hotels, "We plan to have 1,000 rooms in Maharashtra alone in the next few years owing to the rapid expansion of both Lemon Tree and Red Fox in the region. Such development is expected to generate enormous demand for employees and we have therefore decided to develop our own institute in Pune."
