Rajscape Resorts to develop premium resort in Rajasthan

Dinkar Farwaha - New Delhi

Himmat Anand

The newly-formed hospitality company Rajscape Resorts, founded by Himmat Anand, is in the process of developing a premium resort in Rajasthan. In an exclusive with Express Hospitality, Anand divulged, "The resort called Tree of Life will be spread over six acres in Kukas village."

He added that the property will have 20 luxury villas with a private garden and a few villas with a private swimming pool. The company has tied up with architect Nimish Patel, who is known for the use of stone heritage in his structural designs. "The property will be designed without the use of brick, cement or for that matter even steel. To create a traditional Indian architectural feel, we will be using limestone," added Anand.

The property, according to Anand, will be environment-friendly. "Rajasthan has a lot of sunlight so we will be using solar energy and will recycle water." The construction, according to Anand, has already started and the group plans to open it in October next year. On being asked about the guest profile that the company is looking at, Anand replied, "We are primarily looking at upmarket FITs." The group will manage the property on its own.
