Carlson to manage Radisson Plaza Hyderabad

Carlson Hotels Worldwide -Asia Pacific has announced it will manage a new hotel
in Hyderabad, the capital of the state of Andhra Pradesh and the fifth largest
city in India. Radisson Plaza Hotel Hyderabad Banjara Hills, scheduled to open
in the first quarter of 2010, will be located towards the west of the city.
The 160-room hotel is owned by India's Daaj Hotels & Resorts.
Martin Rinck, president and MD of Carlson Hotels Worldwide - Asia Pacific, said,
"We are confident the hotel's strategic location, coupled with its comprehensive
services, will make it the preferred choice for both business and leisure guests."
Radisson Plaza Hotel Hyderabad Banjara Hills will also have conferencing facilities,
a fully-equipped business centre, wireless internet access as well as a health
club and spa.
B S Sahney, director of Daaj Hotels & Resorts, said, "This close working
relationship with Carlson Hotels will allow us to develop a hotel that offers
an unrivalled guest experience for the discerning domestic and international
traveller to Hyderabad."
