InterfaceFLOR launches TacTiles

InterfaceFLOR, a global manufacturer of modular commercial flooring, has launched TacTiles in India, an adhesive product and eco-friendly alternative that simplifies the process of carpet installation. TacTiles are 3"x3" adhesive squares made from a chemically inert polymer, the same material used to create soda bottles. These stickers are affixed to the backing of adjoining carpet tiles, bonding them together to create a 'floating floor'.

The materials and methods used to formulate TacTiles are developed to facilitate waste reduction and minimise environmental impact. The use of TacTiles eliminates the need for buckets of glue as well as the accompanying rollers, fans and spray equipment.

Pergo SoftTech

Pergo SoftTech presents a new standard in the flooring segment with hard-wearing laminate floors that offer not just durability, but also softness and quietness. This follows the introduction of SoundBloc a few years ago, which was an underlay material glued to the bottom of the plank of all Pergo floors. However, with the new Compact Sound Bloc, a new underlay material shows a considerable reduction of impact sound, making it ideal for both heavy commercial use as well as residential use. The Compact Sound Bloc makes it easier to cut planks, while at the same time it prevents saw dust from sticking to the underlay. In this way, Pergo's SoftTech complements the sound reduction of the existing Pergo SoundBloc technology.
