Aabana Hospitality to launch business hotel in Secunderabad

Gayatri Vijaykumar - Bangalore

Aabana Hospitality Management, a Bangalore-based hospitality consultancy is set to launch Time Square, a 40-room business property located in the heart of Secunderabad. "The property will be operational from mid-April; however the restaurant, named Spicy Touch is already operational and is doing business amounting to Rs 70,000 daily," said Venu Rao, director of Aabana Hospitality Management. According to him, the property will fall under the four-star category and the room rates will range from Rs 3,500 for a single-occupancy room to Rs 6000 for a suite.

Targeting business travellers, all rooms in the property will be wi-fi enabled. The property will also house a 200-seater banquet hall and a 50-cover coffee shop. Speaking about the potential of the Hyderabad market Rao said, "There is a lot of sectoral development in Hyderabad, especially around the new international airport. The occupancy level in the city is quite high. We are located in the heart of Secunderabad which is a good location as there are many corporate offices around the area."

Rao added that with the high occupancy rates prevalent in the city, Time Square is looking at an occupancy rate of 75 to 80 percent to start off with. Developed at an investment of Rs 20 crores, Time Square will be set up and managed by Aabana Hospitality Management.
