High quality services in guest houses

2-day programme by IIT Bombay

EH Staff - Mumbai

India's hospitality industry is growing by leaps and bounds. A small but vital segment in the hospitality industry is the small hospitality establishments termed guest houses. In an effort to increase awareness of the same, IIT Bombay, through its Continuing Education Cell, is conducting a training program called 'Delivering High Quality Services in Guest Houses', from March 14 - 15, 2008.

The programme for the in-charge of guest houses is an attempt to address the needs of new age customers through an effective development and a more customer-centric approach to delivery of excellent services in guest houses. The objective is to set the customer expectations in the light of modern life-style and to enhance the knowledge of new tools and techniques pertaining to delivery of guest house services. The training programme has been organised and the faculty has been selected keeping in mind that each lecture, followed by structured discussion sessions, would stimulate a trainee to absorb the concepts and to apply these in order to cope with the professional challenges.

The program will be conducted at the conference hall of the Guest House of IIT Bombay. Participation is restricted to managers, in-charge of guest houses, and executives of hospitality establishments (Guest Houses).
