VingCard launches RFID, NFC-based security systems

VingCard, the electronic-locking systems provider, has introduced new security systems based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. In a seminar held in the company introduced the Signature by VingCard series with designer door handles, Signature RFID and NCF-compatible cell phones system, and Visionline VingCard RF online solution.

The group has collaborated with designing company Valli & Valli for the designer door handles in the Signature series. It is using Philips technology For the NFC and RFID systems.

These systems are fully compatible with ISO 14.443A (MIFARE), ISO 14.443B, ISO 15.693 and it is NFC-compatible with fully integrated PMS interface software solutions. Guests can use their NFC compliant cell phones in addition to other RFID key cards and carries to open their guestroom doors. Through a joint collaboration with NXP (formerly Philips semiconductors), hotels equipped with these RFID locks will be able to offer remote check-in and check-out. Guests will receive booking confirmation number, room number and an encrypted room key access code through SMS.
