The Westin Sohna - Gurgaon, Resort & Spa

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has opened one of its first Westin properties in India, The Westin Sohna - Gurgaon, Resort & Spa. Located 90 minutes away from the New Delhi International Airport, resort is ideal for a weekend getaway and serves as a refreshing, innovative venue for meetings and conferences. The resort offers 97 deluxe rooms and stand-alone suites, as well as state- of-the-art meeting facilities. The Westin Sohna - Gurgaon, Resort & Spa provides the guest with full range of Westin signature including the Heavenly Bed, Heavenly Spa opening in January, Westin WORKOUT, Westin Kids Club, and The Westin sensory welcome. The fully equipped stand-alone suites offer a combination of one and two bedroom options and are outfitted with contemporary furnishings, state-of-the-art amenities, LCD flat screen televisions, high-speed internet access and a private balcony with patio.

The four distinctive restaurants at The Westin Sohna - Gurgaon, Resort & Spa include authentic Chinese food at Xiao Chi and all-day dining at The Living Room, while Splash the poolside restaurant provides a more relaxed setting. The resort also offers more than 70,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space and 6,500 square feet of covered space. For greater flexibility, the ballroom can be divided into three areas and an additional three meeting rooms are all equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities and WiFi technology.

Fortune Inn Jukaso, Pune

Fortune Park Hotels, a wholly owned subsidiary of ITC, opened its doors at Viman Nagar - Pune's IT hub - the 45 room Fortune Inn Jukaso. Designed by the Delhi based firm Studio Parallel, the whole effect of the hotel is to provide a soothing and unobtrusive environment to the stressed business travellers. The hotel is located five kilometres from the airport and eight kilometres away from the railway station and is equipped with Wi-Fi facility and large flat TV screens in its rooms. The hotel also provides banquet and conference facilities. Fortune Inn Jukaso has a 24-hour coffee shop named Zodiac, while Earthen Oven is the Indian speciality restaurant and Fortune 5000 is the bar and lounge.

Fortune Select Trinity, Bangalore

Fortune Park Hotels, a subsidiary of ITC announces the opened Fortune Select Trinity at Bangalore. Located at Whitefield the hotel has 143 rooms. Planned for global business travelers, the rooms in the hotel are designed in a minimalist style with a corporate look enhanced by the extensive use of dark wood. Parquet flooring, beige soft furnishings and touches of dark. The rooms are Wi-Fi connected as well. There are also plans of adding a Fortune Club Lounge.

In keeping with the requirements of business travellers, there are boardrooms and the large banquet area is equipped to handle between 30 to 300 covers, along with a conveniently located business centre.

The hotel's Fortune brand of multi-cuisine restaurants Zodiac, offers round the world cuisine as well as a wide selection of Indian and regional dishes. There is also the Trinity Lounge Bar, an Oriental specialty restaurant and a bar and a roof-top restaurant.

F Bar & Kitchen, Gurgaon

FTV has launched F Bar & Kitchen, located at Cyber City, DLF -3, Gurgaon and has its own F prive - a blend of a private lounge experience and meeting space. The restaurant is spread over 6,000 square feet, the space is in tones of champagne ivory, amber and brown identify the space with the bar area contrasted with dynamic illumination of a crystal chandeliers.

The menus are done in black and gold leatherette with button cushioning, coasters with gold piping and 'f' embossed highlight the table tops at 'F prive' while quilted patent leather menus in black and silver with coasters in croco paper add that extra texture and style to the collection at F Bar & Kitchen. The food at F Bar & Kitchen encompasses a range of tastes in modern cuisine outlining the characteristics of the world cuisine at the lounge.

Savannah Sarovar Premiere, Bangalore

Sarovar Hotels and Resorts recently launched its new Savannah Sarovar Premiere, in the Whitefield area of Bangalore. The hotel is easily accessible from the airport it targets busy corporate travellers, who prefers to stay within close proximity to work place. Savannah Sarovar Premiere with its contemporary architecture and interiors has a strong cosmopolitan feel, which is truly characteristic of a Sarovar Premiere property.
