| Travelocity has expanded its hotel-team in India,
and across Asia Pacific following the record success of the Travelocity
Preferred Hotels program in India, and across the Asia Pacific region. These
are some of the new appointments.
Abdul Thingna has been appointed regional
manager for the Indian sub-continent. Prior to this appointment, Abdul
was a consultant for major hospitality solutions with Infosys and just
before that he was revenue management director for the Taj Group in Bangalore.
Aditi Sud and Amel Joe join as new
market managers for Northern and Southern India respectively. Both come
from a hospitality background, with Aditi having worked with the Taj Group
in Bangalore and Amel with Leela Hotels in Mumbai.
Yograj Kulkarni has joined as the new market
co-ordinator.
Grant Colquhoun has been appointed director
of hotels for Asia Pacific. He will be supported by two new regional managers
plus a larger team of market managers and market coordinators based throughout
the region.
Stephane Thong and Lewis Lew have
joined as market managers, both based in Singapore. Prior to this appointment,
Stephane was with AirAsia, while Lewis was with Wotif.com.
Isabel Mah has been appointed market coordinator.
Alex Nieuwenhuys has been appointed regional
manager. Having been a part of the Travelocity hotel team since its inception
in Asia Pacific more than three years ago, her proven skills as a networker,
negotiator and thinker has gained her a promotion from market coordinator
to regional manager. Lauren Gainey joins the market manager team in Australia.
Atsushi Nazao has been appointed as new
market manager for Japan. Prior to this appointment, Atsushi led an operations
team within JTB Business Travel Solutions for several years following
his stint with the Westin Hotel in Tokyo.
Jaime Wong has joined as the new Greater
China market coordinator. Helen Lee has been appointed market manager,
Korea. Prior to this, she was a hotel sales agent.
Jinny Sun Woo has been promoted to manager,
Hotel Outbound Sales, Korea
