Seadream corner bathtub from Duravit

Dreamy pool baths and refreshing showers

Corner bathtubs are a popular choice when renovating bathrooms, and with good reason. With floor space at a premium and free-standing furniture taking up a lot of room, corner bathtubs are a good option. Accordingly, Duravit has joined forces with Jochen Schmiddem to find the perfect solution for all those looking to combine maximum bathing comfort with a more-than-generous showering zone, while at the same time using minimum space.

The L-shaped geometry of Seadream creates space for a unique bathing and showering experience, with external measurements of only 163.5 x 110 cms. Thanks to a tub depth of 57 cm, one can relax with up to one's neck in warm water. Seadream is ideal for dreamy pool baths and its shower partition of transparent safety glass can be swivelled open to 180 degrees. It also has a 10 cm-wide tub rim for tap fittings. Alternatively, the rain shower can be operated from a wall-mounted fitting. In order to maximise the showering zone, the 25 sloping backrest runs vertically in the lower area of the acrylic tub, whose waste outlet with a diameter of 9 cm is also easy to clean.

A step the width of the tub, transforms Seadream's L-shape into a rectangle - a practical access support and at the same time a useful place to deposit towels and bathroom essentials. A second small step can be positioned variably and additionally facilitates access.

Seadream can easily be integrated into the bathroom fittings giving it a uniform, harmonious look. The high-quality panelling on the tub, along with the steps, gives the bathroom a welcoming feel without overshadowing the original furnishings.
