Lazeez Affaire goes into expansion mode

Launches Toast grill & bar, to add more F&B brands

Sanjeev Bhar - New Delhi

Delhi-based restaurant brand Lazeez Affaire recently launched Toast grill and bar as part of its F&B ventures. The company plans to open more F&B outlets in north and western India. Tarun Rai Arora, partner of the first Toast lounge bar, said, "There are negotiations going on for three more RPM brand in Greater Noida, Ludhiana and Mumbai. The aim is to open an outlet every six months."

Lazeez Affaire will be promoted as the parent F&B company-a family-run business managing different brands with different partners. The company is going to launch the second outlet of Toast in Gurgaon in less than a year. This brand is being promoted as a high-end lounge bar in the F&B market.

According to Priyank Sukhija of Lazeez Affaire, it will be launching another lounge as well. "There is a plan for a sushi lounge Ikko at Malcha Marg, Delhi. In Noida, we will have 200 covers of fine dine restaurant - The Orient (serving pre-plated food) and 40 pax lounge bar - Play in a combined land space of 5,000 sq ft," he said.

The capital for these investments will be raised through internal accruals. The company declined to reveal the investment for the expansion. Sukhija revealed, "We are also targeting tier II cities. For starters, we have plans for Ludhiana and are set to launch a food court '12elve' in Faridabad comprising Paratha Factory (Indian), Beijing Garden (Chinese) and Musicafe (lounge) spread over approximately 3,000 sq ft. The entire food court would have 250-300 covers." The company has acquired the land under a minimum guarantee franchise agreement of 12 years and will look for long term land lease deals for its upcoming projects.
