Russian Standard Platinum

Russian Standard Vodka, the Russian vodka company, has launched Russian Standard Platinum brand in India, in collaboration with the Narang Group.

Russian Standard Platinum is distilled and bottled in Russian Standard's US$ 60 million vodka distillery in the Imperial City of St. Petersburg, Russia, where exceptionally high levels of precision and state-of-the-art technology achieve ultra-fine rectification. It meets the strict requirements of the formula for Russian vodka production developed by Dmitri Mendeleev. Russian Standard Platinum is produced with wheat from the Southern Steppes of Russia, blended with natural glacial water and filtered multiple times through exclusive silver filtration technology to achieve superior purity and smoothness.

Presently the 750 ml vodka bottles will be available in all Indian metropolitan cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune and Goa.

Vacuum CIP system

KHS has launched vacuum CIP system for cleaning of the beverage tanks at medium temperatures of up to 50 degrees centigrade.

The KHS vacuum CIP solution eliminates the usual mixing of media during media changeover and the resulting loss of cleaning agents. The new system design offers considerable savings potential when it comes to caustics and acids and a specific reduction in fresh water consumption. The flushing amounts needed in the past will now reduce drastically while eliminating the necessity of leaving the system filled with water.

The CIP tanks are designed for a significantly smaller capacity than that has been possible. The volume requirement - depending on the application - can be reduced by to 50 per cent compared to the traditional CIP solution. Besides the argument of lower tank costs, there are also the advantages of lower power consumption for heating media and the reduced space requirements of the CIP system.
