Oodles of noodles to 'Wok' the house in India

EH Staff - Mumbai

Jumeirah Branded Restaurants, part of Dubai-based Jumeirah Group, has signed a license agreement with Dish Hospitality that will see 35 Noodle House restaurants opening in India with scheduled openings in Bangalore and Mumbai by the end of this year.

Steven Grey, general manager of Jumeirah Branded Restaurants, said, "The Noodle House brand is inspired by the crowded streets of South East Asian cities such as Hong Kong, Shanghai, Bangkok and Jakarta. The continued development of Noodle House is a high priority for Jumeirah Branded Restaurants and this strategic license agreement with Dish Hospitality reflects another significant step forward in the expansion of the division."

Dheeraj Wadhawan, director of Dish Hospitality, said, "We already have a license agreement to open 35 Noodle House outlets across India and our first restaurant will be ready by the end of year 2007."
