Signature Crest plans to open serviced apartment abroad

The
Signature Crest, a Mumbai-based fully-owned subsidiary of TravelOrg Holidays,
is planning to launch serviced apartments abroad. According to its CEO, Venkatesh
K, the group will open serviced apartments in London, Dubai and Colombo. "These
three destinations will open by August this year and another two destinations
in Malaysia and Australia before December 2007."
The London property will be an independent villa with seven suites, one common
kitchen and a living room. With an average room rate of 100 pounds which includes
all amenities, the apartment is located in Kingsbury (near Wembley). The other
properties in Dubai and Colombo will also follow a similar format. They are
presently in development stage.
The Signature Crest already owns properties in 25 locations in India such as
Jaipur, Indore, Agra, Delhi, Bangalore, Mysore, Pune, Goa, Gurgaon, Coimbatore,
Chennai, Ooty, Panchgani, and Khandala. By December this year it plans to have
serviced apartments in another 40 to 45 locations in the country. The group
will target corporates who globetrot all over the world.
