Cleartrip launches hotel search model
Online travel company Cleartrip has redesigned its hotel search section. Speaking
on the new development, Stuart Crighton, COO of Cleartrip, said, "We have
introduced an enhanced version of our current model product. Customers can sort
through hotels by parameters such as property rating (stars), price or property
name. They can filter on the basis of numerous factors including price, rating,
location, amenity chains. Useful information such as photographs, ratings (stars),
area information and amenities are displayed for every hotel listed on the website."
Prices displayed are inclusive of all taxes. By default, the best lower end
room rates available is displayed for each hotel. However, additional rooms
and prices from a hotel can be made visible with a click. Cleartrip possesses
a broad range of hotel properties and hotel chains available across India, covering
3500 hotels in 350 cities, and the prices range from Rs 1,000 to Rs 30,000 per
room. It will redo the international hotel search over to the new design shortly.
