Marian College offers state’s only multi-disciplinary management programme

Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH) at Marian College is the only multidisciplinary professional Masters programme in management in the state, with specialisations in hospitality, tour, travel and event management.

Marian College, founded by the Catholic Diocese of Kanjirapally, is situated in Kuttikkanam. The college, accredited by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a five-star grade and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), is aided and affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University.

MMH, under the directorship of P Vijayachandran, former MD of KTDC and senior consultant and domain expert (tourism) at Consultancy Engineering Services (India), New Delhi, is committed to teaching business with a strong application orientation, tying theory and concepts to real-world business problems. Professionals with extensive academic and business backgrounds serve at the school, and coach students through case studies, simulated product introductions, transaction analysis, projects, field work, presentations, group discussions and a host of variety programmes to simulate job experience. The internship projects after every semester gives the students a minimum six months of on-the-job work experience in addition to the add-on courses on interviews and group discussions.
