I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Express
Hospitality team for putting up a great show in Hyderabad. HospitalityWorld
2007 was indeed very professionally organised, providing the right business
platform for an organisation like ours to meet the best Indian hospitality
suppliers under one roof. We have indeed been successful in identifying
key suppliers for our upcoming chain of 40 mid-scale and budget hotels
under the brand Keys. Needless to say we shall be back next year.

This is a very well-planned event. A good
balance of all products used in the hospitality industry. However, I was
expecting to see more international exhibitors.

Exhibitions like the Hospitality World help us in meeting the right
suppliers and buying quality products from them at the right cost. Further,
cities like Hyderabad hosting such big exhibitions support the fact that
the hotel industry is growing in tier II cities as well. |

Director (Operations), Residency Towers, Chennai
I am most impressed by the exhibition. The quality of the exhibition
is good and a lot of the products showcased here are new. Most of the
exhibitors are also from the senior management so they know everything
about the product they showcase including the cost details. I feel that
the Bohemian Crystals stall has the best display so far.

The exhibition looks well planned and very contemporary. I can
see quite a few foreign players here. I would definitely like to place
a few purchase orders.

Executive Director (Sarovar Hotels and Resorts)
It was a well laid-out exhibition. There was a good mix of exhibitors
and buyers. However, given the fact that more people are going abroad
to buy products and that importing has also become easier than before,
it would be great if there is more participation from foreign vendors.

Although the number of enterprises represented in HospitalityWorld
2007 is impressive, the need for some major international players is still
there. Not just franchisees, we need the big players themselves in person
here.

South India is without doubt the Hospitality hub of the moment;
it represents opportunities like no other place in India.

Events like HospitalityWorld are a boon to standalone groups -
the kind of coverage they get here helps them immensely.

This exhibition is a unique endeavour. To know the trends in the
business all under one roof is really commendable. You get to know how
to do things, every brand is represented here, and quite a few also deal
in designs. Warranty and after sales queries have also been looked at
dealt with. A wide variety of products are available, which are well balanced
for all areas.

It is an extensive exhibition. I was particularly looking at kitchen
equipment, crockery and safety devices. Everyone in the field should come
and visit the exhibition; it's a good update for everyone.

According to me an event for hospitality needs to take a future
step and make it even bigger. Express Hospitality has done a good job
with HospitalityWorld in Hyderabad but I wish to see more participation
from international clients. The market is huge out there and the international
competition should pep up Indian scenario as well. Going for an even bigger
exhibition with more exhibitors would make sense, cutting the frequency
of the event.

The Imperial
I really appreciate all the efforts, right from the concept to
the execution was wonderful. Most laudable is the personal touch at all
levels right from coordinators to the executives. Focus on the south helped
us to identify more possible vendors for desired products. The competition
is also increasing in this arena, which helps bring out better products
comparable to international standards. Exhibitions like these are vital
these days, as the pace in product development is very fast these days.

Encore Hotels
I have been able to meet a lot of suppliers and see their latest
products in the offering. Exhibitions like these help us to see the latest
trends in the industry and find the right products. I must also say that
the infrastructure of the convention centre is really good.

Pride Group of Hotels
The exhibition was well-coordinated and organised. It proved to
be an informative and a constructive event for us. Since we are expanding
our operations, the exhibition has helped us with new ideas. However,
I feel that there should be a separate section for new products. It would
save us a lot of time.

HospitalityWorld is a great platform for the suppliers to showcase
their products and also for the hoteliers, restaurant owners, etc to see
the latest products in the market and buy the right ones. I think it would
serve us even better if more international suppliers could take part in
such exhibitions.

It is nice to see significant events like these moving beyond
cities like Delhi and Mumbai and coming to south. The hotel industry is
growing in Kolkata and it would help the industry develop even further
if such exhibitions are held in the east as well.

HospitalityWorld 2007 was a well organised
event and a good place for buyers and sellers to meet under one roof.
An excellent occasion for the focused buyers.
