Model Shamita Singha celebrated the launch of her style show on Zoom at the White Lounge. Along with her model sister Mashoom, she welcomed guests into a classy cocktail setting. The guests included Achala Sachdev in an olive green ensemble, model Shonal Rawat with Deepak Bajaj who made their style statement in flashy red, Tejaswini Kolhapure and Dipannita Sharma, White partner Rij Eappen dressed in black with designer wife Arshiya in red, choreographer Sameer Bhayani in summery white, man-in-black Marc Robinson, South African Consul General Busi Kuzwayo, designer Gayatri Khanna, makeup specialist Cory Walia and model Mugdha Godse with Mithun Purandare in a red-and-black combination.

Karambir Singh Kang, Reshma Bombaywala and Anish Trivedi at Atrium Lounge

Anish Trivedi and Karambir Singh Kang, GM, Taj Lands End hosted a party at the newly refurbished Atrium Lounge. It was a chilled out night filled with Moet & Chandon champagne, Belvedere vodka and martinis, Glenmorangie range of single malts and more. Sushi, sandwiches and hors d'oeuvres did the rounds and in the air were the sounds of the Bassman's Band with Colin D'Cruz on bass and vocals by Australian singer Megan Perry. Also singing were Cherry Fernandes and Shibani Kashyap. Champagne men Ashwin Deo and Ray Martins, model Kiran Rao with Kush Medhora of Pantaloon, hoteliers Farhat Jamal and Rohit Khosla, filmmaker Anuradha Tandon, model Reshma Bombaywala, theatre personality Alyque Padamsee, actor Ragini Shetty, Kitu Gidwani, Jayant Kriplani, Rahul Nanda, Esther and Raju Daswani, Remu and Naaz Javeri were all there living it up.

Suneeta Rao at the music show at Enigma

They called it 'intelligent dance music' with the Band of Boys and Nexus teaming together to give you xen @ bob at Enigma. It was time for Shereein Varghese, Chin2u Bhosle, Karan Oberoi and Siddharth Haldipur to combine their talent with Sheldon D'Silva, Gino Banks and Sangeet Haldipur. Host Siddharth Kannan was all excited as the boys belted out songs from U2's 'Where the Street Has No Name' to a merry medley of hit tracks from Bollywood. Enjoying the experience were the likes of singer Suneeta Rao, Jimmy Felix, Suleiman, Bappa Lahiri, Mona Singh, Simple Kaul, Sudhanshu Pandey, designer Kanwaljit Singh, Karishma Tanna, Achala Sachdev, Sandip Soparrkar and Jesse Randhawa. And after the live music it was the turn of DJ Akhtar Fazel to get into the mix with his spellbinding spin of songs that got the crowd on the dance floor.

Saif Ali Khan and Esha Deol at the Provogue show at Grand Hyatt

The ballroom at the Grand Hyatt was the chosen venue for this year's annual Provogue show. On view was the Provogue spring-summer 2007 collection. Besides the regular models on the catwalk, scorching the ramp were brand ambassadors Saif Ali Khan, Upen Patel and Esha Deol. Hosts Salil and Nikhil Chaturvedi seemed pleased as punch as they greeted guests like Minissha Lamba, Nagma, Urvashi Sharma, Aki Narula, Rocky S, Neeta Lulla, VJ Sophie, Suchitra Krishnamoorthy, Sanjay Gupta, Neha Oberoi. Shekhar Suman, Ravi Kisen, Ken Ghosh, Apoorva Agnihotri, Shilpa Saklani, Riva Babber, Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, Parmeet Sethi, Archana Puransingh, Rohit Roy, Karishma Tanna, Shweta Keswani, Chetan Hansraj and Rahul Bhatt. The show was choreographed by supermodel Mehr Jessia Rampal.
