Mercury Travels
Arijit Munshi, director (Corporate Accounts), has been appointed the interim leader who will head daily operations. Aashutosh Akshikar has been appointed chief executive officer of Mercury Travels, Hoshang Netarwalla as CFO, Anil Nadkarni as CTO and Ajay Bhatia as head of the company's foreign exchange business.
Adaco, Bangalore
Fortune Klassik, Ludhiana
Ganesh Srinivasan will head Adaco Services LLC's new office in Bangalore. He has experience of more than 14 years in the Middle East, representing top manufacturing firms from Europe and the UK, in addition to spending seven years managing a private limited company in Singapore. He now specialises in unraveling the mysteries of the Indian, Far East and Chinese markets to facilitate business development in these areas for Adaco Services. Sunil Khera has joined Fortune Klassik, Ludhiana as its general manager. Fortune Park Hotels is a fully owned subsidiary of ITC Hotels, a group of company of ITC. He has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry with experience in brands like Hotel Leela Kempinsiki (Mumbai), Welkom Mughal Sheraton (Agra), Suman Motels (Lucknow), Hotel President (Jalandhar) and Holiday Inn (Manali).
Taj Banjara, Hyderabad
Taj GVK Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Jaikant Shroff as the new general manager of Taj Banjara, a Taj business hotel. He takes over from Sanjay Sood who after two and half years as GM of the hotel, moves to Chennai as GM of Taj Mount Road, Chennai.

Shroff brings with him more than 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He had earlier worked in other prestigious Taj properties like Taj Coromandel, Chennai, Lake Palace, Udaipur, Taj Bengal, Kolkata. He has also been nominated for an international management experience at the Pierre Hotel, New York, by the Taj Group of Hotels.

Le Passage to India
Vijay Chadda has joined Le Passage to India Tours & Travel as its CEO. His focus will be on the development and growth of outbound and domestic leisure business under the TUI brand.

He was the COO (India & South Asia) of Kuoni Travel India for five years and was responsible for business travel, the Kuoni Academy of Travel and Western Union Money Transfer. Prior to that, he worked as CEO of Carlson Wagonlit Travel/Ind Travels for six years. He took premature retirement from the Indian Army after an outstanding career spanning 20 years where he handled sensitive command and staff appointments at all levels.
