GVK Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Jaikant Shroff
as the new general manager of Taj Banjara, a Taj business hotel. He takes
over from Sanjay Sood who after two and half years as GM of the hotel, moves
to Chennai as GM of Taj Mount Road, Chennai.
Shroff brings with him more than 18 years of experience
in the hospitality industry. He had earlier worked in other prestigious
Taj properties like Taj Coromandel, Chennai, Lake Palace, Udaipur, Taj
Bengal, Kolkata. He has also been nominated for an international management
experience at the Pierre Hotel, New York, by the Taj Group of Hotels.

Chadda has joined Le Passage to India Tours & Travel as its CEO.
His focus will be on the development and growth of outbound and domestic
leisure business under the TUI brand.
