In the Pearl of health

Two-year old V Pearl Health Foods that has established its presence in Goa, Pune and Mumbai has grown swiftly to position itself as a premium player in the processed foods sector. The company's brand, Safa Juices & Nectars, is manufactured at its well-equipped plants with fully automatic machines of the latest technology and highest level of hygiene standards.

According to the company, the products are pure, 100 per cent juices with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and are filled with all the nourishment and nutrients. All Safa juices and nectars are pasteurised in order to provide a great tasting product that doesn¹t compromise safety. Pasteurisation is when juice producers heat the juice to a certain temperature in order to eliminate any harmful bacteria. Pasteurisation of juices helps preserve its nutritional integrity and taste of the juice while still ensuring its safety.

So while Safa Juices & Nectars have a lengthy shelf life unlike other juices, it also surpasses them in taste, quality and nutritive value. Safa Dairies is certified with quality ISO 9002 since 2001 and has also been awarded with the HCCP certification for quality. Few of its prestigious clientele include Air India, Indian Airlines, Food Bazaar and Taj Group.

Safa juices and nectars can be stored at room temperature, away from sunlight until they are not unsealed. Once opened, they have to be refrigerated and consumed within six days. Nectars are exotic fruits, such as mango or guava, have thick pulp and cannot be made into the 100 per cent juice of a single fruit. The recipe of nectars comprise water to get the correct consistency for the perfect drink and to regain the perfect sweetness level of the original fruit, sugar is added.

However, Safa juices do not contain added sugars, sweeteners or chemical preservatives. They contain only natural sugars (fructose) in the fruit juice concentrates used. All Safa juices and nectars are pasteurised through a heating process that destroys any micro-organisms.

Ready to drink beverage offers consumers:

  • A delicious ready to drink product at an affordable price
  • A packed straw with the pack for easy drinking.
  • A hygienic aseptic tetra pack
  • Colorful designs
  • Shelf life of 12 months when packed.
