Established
in 1950, Kishco Cutlery boasts of a market share of over 70 per cent today.
This manufacturer of premium quality cutlery is the only cutlery company in
the organised sector in India to receive the prestigious ISO 9001- 2000 certificate.
It has two state-of-the-art manufacturing units with an annual production capacity
of over eight million pieces and has been chosen by the ministry of external
affairs for supplying cutlery to over 140 Indian missions all over the world
for the third consecutive year.
Quality is a way of life at Kishco and strict checks are maintained at every
stage of the manufacturing process. Here every piece of cutlery and hollow-ware
is a product of exquisite workmanship and is manufactured using state-of-the-art
machines from Japan and Korea. Both plants have their own fully-equipped tool-room
manned by skilled personnel seasoned in the art of dye-making. This enables
the company to manufacture any new pattern to satisfy discerning clients who
require custom-made designs.
Housing
the entire range of Kishco products, the exclusive company showroom at Mumbai's
Marine Drive is a landmark in itself. Kishco caters to a wide spectrum of clientele
which includes the household sector, hospitality sector, the travel sector and
the corporate sector. It also supplies stainless steel and silver-plated cutlery
to customers in Europe and USA.
Each piece of cutlery with the hallmark of Kishco undergoes numerous quality
tests before it reaches the final user. In line with international standards
Kishco stainless steel cutlery is made exclusively from 18/8 grade steel which
gives it a fine lustre and prevents it from pitting and rusting. Kishco's silver-plated
cutlery is plated with 15 microns of pure silver on brass (EPNS) or Stainless
Steel (EPSS). It also manufactures high quality silver-plated tableware such
as tea sets, champagne coolers, dinner sets which are among the 500 different
varieties of tableware products produced by Kishco. The latest debutante to
the Kishco stable is kitchen knives - Mastercut Premium and Mastercut Classic.
The high grade steel coupled with its razor sharpness makes it a cut above the
