Royal China opens in Bandra, Mumbai
Royal
China, one of the finest restaurants in Mumbai for Chinese cuisine, now opens
at Turner Road, Mumbai. Royal China at Bandra is a joint venture between restauranteurs
Phiroze and Neville Vazifdar and established interior designer Mustafa Eisa.
Mustafa Eisa whose company "Dolce Vita Restaurants" owned and operated
China White (at the same location) has entered into a JV with the Vazifdars
for them to operate the property as "Royal China". Mustafa will continue
his role in his role as the owner and "Royal China" will handle the
management and operations.
Royal China was first started at Fort, Mumbai by the Vazifdars in 2003 with
Ricky Au of Royal China London as its technical consultant. Royal China sets
new standards in Chinese cuisine with its vast list of specialities. The chefs
have been brought down from Hong Kong and, London. The restaurant features a
very strong backend with a separate dim sum kitchen.
The interiors of Royal China have been designed and executed
by Talati & Panthaky giving both the outlets in Mumbai a beautiful look
that combines contemporary modern design forms with an Oriental spirit.
World's first Marathi restrobar 'Diva Maharashtracha'
'Diva
Maharashtracha', a true authentic restobar that will serve exquisite Marathi
cuisine from all the regions and cultures as also exotic delicacies of different
communities. Master chef, Deepa Awchat, has put in two years of research in
preparing the delicacies from the variety of food from all over the state, also
involving experts in the field and deliberations with the Maharashtrian food
lovers. 'Diva Maharashtracha' will showcase Marathi culture with live Marathi
music and folk dances taking you into the world of Maharashtrians, an ambience
of grand Peshwa Wada (Palace) which you will enjoy and cherish. 'Diva Maharashtra"
is supported by MTDC - Government of Maharashtra and is the first ISO certified
Marathi restrobar in the world.
