Hyderabad International Convention Centre
Uppal's Orchid, New Delhi
Philip Logan has been appointed as the General Manager of the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (South Asia). Born and educated in Australia, he holds a Bachelor of Business in Hotel Management and an executive MBA. This is his first stint in India. Logan has over 15 years of experience across 11 locations in the Asia Pacific. His experience includes being the operations manager of Sydney Convention Exhibition Centre and venue operations manager for five sports during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

Chef Wang Li has joined the Uppal's Orchid - An Ecotel Hotel, New Delhi as Master Chef for Oriental Cuisine for the restaurant, Chef & I. The 38-year old chef has spent 23 years in this profession with associations like Great Wall Sheraton Hotel in Beijing, Da Ping Guo chain of restaurant in Beijing, and Jeddah Sheraton Hotel in Saudi Arabia. He has also worked with ITC Park Sheraton in Chennai and Taj Krishna in Hyderabad. His forte lies in traditional Cantonese, Sichuan, Beijing, Shan Dong and Xin Jiang cuisines.

Amari Hotels & Resorts
Rajesh Bhanot joins the group as general manager for projects and will be based at its corporate office in Gurgaon. He was with The Imperial Hotel, New Delhi for six years, prior to which he had stints with ITC Hotels and Jaypee Greens Golf Course at Greater Noida. Prior to joining Dawnay Day he was head (Construction) at DS Hotels & Resorts.

Kevin Hall has been appointed deputy managing director of Amari Hotels & Resorts. A Canadian national, Hall has been with Amari since 1992 and was previously vice president (finance) for the group. He will be responsible for the group's expansion plans, owner relationships and the overall financial performance of the individual properties.
Jaypee Siddharth Hotel
Farzana Rizvi takes responsibility as front office manager at Jaypee Siddharth Hotel. Starting her career in 1985, Rizvi has 21 years of experience both in operations and sales in the hospitality industry. She joined Jaypee Vasant Continental in 1998 where she worked for four years as front office manager and later contributed in corporate sales as manager sales (travel) as well.
Virender Bhan has been appointed as the corporate sales manager (travel industry - sales) at Jaypee Vasant Continental. He has 18 years of experience in the front office department. He joined Jaypee Siddharth in 1990 and was handling front office operations including the reservation department.
