Ion Exchange for sewage treatment

Ion Exchange India has developed and introduced Indion Fluidised Media Reactor (FMR), Indion Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR) and Indion New Generation Packaged Sewage Treatment Plant (NGPSTP). These use advanced processes for wastewater/sewage treatment and recycle.

Its MBR produces high quality treated water from domestic sewage, industrial wastewater, etc with highest possible microbial reduction up to 6 log (99.9999 per cent) removal of total coliform without chemical use. The revolutionary submerged micro and ultrafiltration membranes in the biological process removes suspended activated sludge and long-term stable MBR operation is achieved with high permeate flow rates and consistent better removal efficiency. The compact, single packaged unit uses a third to a quarter space of conventional systems and can even be fitted in the basement. It has modular capacity, available from 50 m3/day and above. Treated water can be used for cooling tower make-up, toilet flushing, gardening, etc. For further information visit www.ionindia.com.
