Ramada Hotels partners with Royal Orchid Hotels
The Royal Orchid Hotels, Indian chain of hotels in the business class segment
and the largest chain in Karnataka, signed an exclusive territorial agreement
with Ramada Worldwide (part of Wyndham Group Worldwide). This agreement permits
ROHL to manage and develop hotels under the Ramada brand in India.
Post Ramada's acquisition, Wyndham Worldwide, has been aggressively
looking to enter the Asian markets with big local players and this tie-up is
a result of that. ROHL provides the necessary management infrastructure, service
delivery and understanding of the hospitality industry required for a large
international venture. Royal Orchid has committed to build 10 hotels under the
Ramada brand itself as proof of commitment to this venture. Royal Orchid in
turn will manage third party-owned Ramada Hotels across India as well.

and Sula has high expectations from these new additions. Interestingly, the
region is claimed to be partial to red wine instead of hard drinks due to health
reasons.
