Taj GVK Hotels, Hyderabad
Veer Vijay Singh has been appointed as director (Operations) at Taj GVK and general manager at Taj Krishna. Prior to this he was area director and general manager at Taj Samudra, Colombo. He will help further build on the goodwill and customer loyalty.

American Hotel & Lodging Association
Roy G Kennington, CHA, senior vice president of the Educational Institute (EI) of the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Foundation has been appointed as president and COO of the Educational Institute.

In his new position, Kennington’s responsibilities include representing EI as its spokesperson and leader, formulating profitable and productive strategic business alliances to enhance EI, increasing penetration of the international markets, and enhancing marketing efforts within the industry.

HRANI
Rajindera Kumar, director of Hotel The Ambassador, has been elected as president of Hotel & Restaurant Association of Northern India (HRANI). He has been actively participating in the promotion of tourism sector and has been associated with HRANI since 1981. He is a former president and honorary secretary of HRANI and honorary secretary of FHRAI and was a managing committee member of HRANI before taking over as the president.
The Leela Palaces & Resorts
Charles de Foucault has been appointed as general manager, Leela Kempinski Gurgaon, Delhi (NCR), which is scheduled for launch in the coming year. He is an alumni of the prestigious Centre for Professional Development School of Hotel Administration, Ithaca, New York and the Institute for the American Hotel & Motel Association, Michigan. He brings with him over 27 years of valuable experience.
V L Ganesh is the newest member on board The Leela Palaces and Resorts and has been appointed as the chief financial officer for the group. He is a cost accountant and company secretary with a post graduate diploma in management studies. He brings with him over 27 years of experience.
HRAWI
Rabinder Singh Bedi was been elected as president of Hotel & Restaurant Association (Western India) at its 56th Annual General Meeting. Other office bearers include - Dinesh Khanna as senior vice president, S P Jain as vice president, Vasant B Shetty as honorary secretary, Kamlesh Barot as joint honourary secretary and Ghansham Shewakramani as honorary treasurer. Ajit B Kerkar, president of Honour, will continue in his post.
