Bohemian: Three decades of servicing hospitality
Established
in 1976, Bohemian Crystal Company (BCC) brand of hotel supplies started its
operations in Dubai by marketing and selling exclusive crystal ware from Bohemia.
Today, after three decades of serving the hospitality industry, it has spread
its presence to the UAE, Middle East countries and India.
The first project for its new division, the Hotel Line Business, was the Royal
Abjar Hotel, which is currently known as the Renaissance Hotel. This was the
beginning of the tableware, cutlery and hospitality items business. This division
is now considered as the backbone of the company. It was able to work on all
the high profile projects that came up in the region, especially in the UAE.
Some of these projects include Burj Al Arab, Emirates Towers, Marriott Hotels
and Resorts, Ritz Carlton in Doha, etc.
Carrying forward the legacy of 20 years of experience in UAE, it entered the
Indian hospitality industry in 1999. After a successful launch in Goa, it extended
its reach with branches in Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore to cater to quality-conscious
clientele. Today, it is associated with the Leela group, the Taj group, the
Oberoi group, The Grand Hyatt, Le Meridian, Radisson, Marriott and the ITC Sheraton
group of hotels.
The company has chosen to represent some of the finest brands that manufacture
glassware, crockery, flatware, hollow ware, buffet ware, room amenities, coffee
machines, etc. The Hotel Line Division was able to sign exclusive agreements
with worldwide manufacturers of hospitality items such as Bauscher, WMF, HEPP
and Schott Zwiesel from Germany. As a result of long years of cooperation and
mutual benefit, BCC has been able to gain exclusive distribution rights for
several worldwide manufacturers of table-top products, some of which were established
in the year 1815.
