The Great Indian Culinary Challenge
The Great Indian Culinary Challenge (GICC) is the industry's only professional
food preparation competition, organised at a national level, involving senior
and apprentice chefs from India. Designed on an internationally modelled framework,
the prime objective of the GICC is to establish a professional platform where
culinary professionals across India can display their individual and collective
skills, learn, share experiences, partner and network in a purely businesslike
and competitive environment. In short, an event that is marked on every chef's
calendar. GICC is supported by the apex body of Indian chef community - The
Indian Federation of Culinary Associations (IFCA) - and regional associations
viz. Western India Culinary Association, South India Culinary Association and
The Indian Culinary Forum.
This year, the 3rd edition of the GICC is being conducted on a much larger scale
with an estimated participation of over 250 chefs from across India. The event,
being held in conjunction with HospitalityWorld promises to be more exciting,
more enthusiastic and more intense. It will witness industry heavyweights and
rookies whip up sumptuous and exotic dishes in the quest to prove their passion

The Smart Housekeeping Seminar is an attempt to create a common platform for

This year the second edition of Smart Housekeeping Seminar
is being held alongside HospitalityWorld. The theme this year is 'Transforming
