TATA Ceramics eyes Indian hospitality market

After having established considerable success in the overseas hospitality market for its ceramic products, Tata Ceramics is now gearing up to make its presence felt in the Indian hotel and restaurant sector.

Expressing his views on the new focus of the group, Munish Gupta, executive director and chief executive, Tata Ceramics Ltd, said, "India over the next couple of years is to witness an extensive mushrooming of hotel and restaurant related projects. This growth is undoubtedly going to fuel the demands for products that cater to this sector. Therefore, while being a predominately export-oriented company, we have decided to further diversify our operations and concentrate on the burgeoning Indian market."

Tata Ceramics has combined British bone china technical expertise with a blend of imported and domestic raw materials to produce fine bone china tabletop products.

Their wide range of products, including hollowware and flatware items in plain and fluted shapes, is manufactured at the factory. The company also makes a wide variety of mugs in various shapes, sizes and designs. The china is available in both classic and contemporary designs The company's products are exported to UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Italy, Germany, Korea, Australia and New Zealand.
