Godrej Locks division forays into the high-end segment
EH Staff - Mumbai
To cater to the requirements of the high-end segment, Godrej Locks division
has introduced its new range of products, which includes stainless steel architectural
hardware like handles, cover plates, pulls, signage, and various types of mortise
locks. Various door control solutions like door closers, floor-springs, panic
devices and related accessories, which complement the international certifications
like UL rating and relevant fire standards. The range of door accessories include
bearing hinges, brass butt hinges, door stoppers, door holds, tower bolts in
brass and Steel in various sizes. Godrej also offers glass solutions that include
patch fittings, railings, spider fittings and accessories for shower cubicles.
Godrej Locks also offers electromechanical locking systems such as IC card locks,
i-button locks and Videx Cyberlocks (high security access control systems).
Godrej Locks offers a whole range of architectural hardware and related items
for hotels, malls, airports, commercial establishments, transit points, educational
institutions, research facilities and so on. On the technology aspect, Godrej
has moved way beyond ULTRA (a decade old dimple key technology) to Godrej UltraEXS
(angular multi-row pin cylinder technology), Godrej EVVA (tie-up with EVVA of
Austria for high security springless locking systems) and SALTO (for integrated
project solutions).
Godrej UltraEXS makes unpickability accessible to users of commonly available
europrofile mortise locks - the specially designed high precision cylinder can
be retrofitted wherever Europrofile mortise locks are used to transform the
home into an EXS (Extra Secure) home. While, Godrej EVVA offers a range of padlocks,
rim locks and mortise locks. For the first time in India, unpickability will
be offered though a springless mechanism. A much higher number of non-interchangeable
combinations and master-keying capability of this technology will make Godrej
EVVA products ideal for high security residential and commercial applications
Godrej has also tied-up with SALTO for virtual net locking systems, which will
give access to projects typically classified as 'infrastructure' - airports,
ports, research labs, universities, corporate offices and the like. With SALTO,
seemingly modular units can be easily combined in an 'agile' manner to offer
an integrated access control solutions for large, complex commercial/infrastructure
projects.
