The first integrated township in Jaipur - 'The Oasis,' being built in 25 acres
of land, with an investment of Rs 1000 crore, is looking for hoteliers for setting
up hotel, within it premises. The township is built by a real estate company,
Shree Giriraj Kripa Colonisers and is being designed by Hafeez Contractor. R
K Rawat, managing director of the company, said, "We are looking for hoteliers
to build a business hotel in the township. There are a few companies who have
already approached us and we are considering the proposals." According
to Rawat, five acres of land allocated for the hotel construction will be sold
to the hotel company. "In case such an agreement is not achieved due to
various modalities, then we will construct a hotel ourselves and would eventually
enter into a management contract with a hotel group for its operations,"
he said.
Inderjit Bhatt, director of the real estate company informed, "We are targeting
a business hotel, keeping Jaipur popularity in mind, as a Meeting, Incentive,
Convention and Exhibition (MICE) destination. We expect a 100 room hotel with
a golf center in a 85,000 sq ft of area, which will be developed by Public Soft
Corporation, USA." The township will also boast an integrated amusement
park for which an agreement has been inked with a Taiwan company - VIVA VR (Virtual
Reality).
The company has plans for another hotel in its township at Khattu Shyamji (Sikar
Road) in the same region. "The hotel plan at Sikar Road township is in
its initial stages, and it will be only after some time that we will comment
about the hotel project we are planning to come up with," remarked Rawat.
