Theo Ocks has been appointed as
director - marketing, The Ritz-Carlton, Jakarta and JW Marriott Jakarta.
In his new role, he will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities.
Ocks has over 12 years of experience in hospitality business with companies
such as Radisson SAS and Accor in Asia, Europe and Middle East. Prior to
his appointment, he was with Accor, where his most recent assignment was
the repositioning and rebranding of Novotol Clarke Quay, Singapore.

Palace Kempinski, Bangalore, as the head, corporate communications and public
relations. She is backed with 14 years of experience in the events and public
relations industries and has handled significant roles in Star Management
Group, Astral Star Malaysia and Lintas. She has also handled projects such
as International Indian Films Academy (IIFA) Awards, Zee Celebration of
Excellence Awards, South Filmfare Awards etc.

Aparupa Ray Ganguly has joined
The Park, New Delhi, as a director public relations. Prior to this she worked
with the Radisson Hotel Delhi as a manager - PR and marketing communications
for five years. Aparupa has a background in advertising having worked with
Rediffussion DY&R and has a four years of experience as a voice over
artist and news reader for Doordarshan.
Choice Hotels
R Krishnan has been appointed
as regional sales manager (North), Choice Hotels India. Krishnan has over
10 years experience in the industry and has been associated with leading
hotel chains like Hilton and InterContinental amongst others. In his current
role he would be responsible for handling the travel agency and corporate
segment out of north India for Choice Hotels India.
