Sven Gade has been appointed as
the new head of consulting at Dubai-based consulting house PKF. He will
replace Guy Wilkinson, who left the company last year. For the last 10 years
Gade has specialised in the Middle East market, advising real estate owners
and developers throughout the Gulf and Arab countries on positioning and
operation of hotel and mixed use developments covering the residential,
commercial, retail, hospitality and event venue segments.
Landmark Group
Ravi Saxena has been appointed
as MD of Citymax Hotels & Leisure, Dubai-based Landmark Group's hospitality
business company in India with effect from July 3, 2006. He will oversee
the three divisions of the company - hotels, leisure and food services in
the country. Prior to joining the Landmark Group, Saxena was heading the
India operations for Sodexho Pass.
Metropolitan Hotel Nikko
Alain Leflon has been appointed
as GM of Metropolitan Hotel Nikko in new Delhi. A French citizen, Leflon
has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry with working
for international hotels group such as Sofitel, Meridien, Warwick, Marco
Polo and Ramada.
Chalet Hotels
Vishwas Shetty has been appointed
as GM (Finance) at Chalet Hotels, a part of K Raheja Corp, owning
the Lakeside Chalet Marriott Executive service apartments and the Renaissance
Mumbai Hotel and Convention Centre. He was earlier with The Resort in Mumbai
as GM (Finance). He comes with over 28 years of experience in the hotel
industry and will be the main coordination point between Marriott International
and K Raheja Corp.
Sarovar Hotels & Resorts
Madhu Jain has been appointed
as corporate communications manager at Sarovar Hotels & Resorts. She
will be responsible for all corporate communication activities of the company.
Prior to this, she was heading PR for Hotel Marine Plaza, a Sarovar hotel
in Mumbai.
