Vision for a bar

Bar Vision's free flow liquid pour, is a flexible wireless monitoring system that provides supreme cost control and inventory management by providing detailed reports on what liquid was dispensed regardless of whether or not the drink is rung up on a POS system or cash register. The system consists of three components: wireless free pour spouts, a radio receiver and Bar Vision for Palm software. The unique small tag integrated with a standard free-pout spout, has two tilt sensors, a radio transmitter, LEDs, a memory chip and other electronics. This design maintains the system's low profile so it does not interfere with the ambience or the bartender's pour style. The spouts have unique identification numbers that are associated with a bottle and track all drink pours, spouts removals and spout replacements for that bottle. The receiver can be powered by batteries or an AC adaptor.

Loud and clear

KEF, a UK-based loudspeaker brand, has introduced its KHT 3000 Home Cinema Speaker System. Created with the patented SST (Sealed Suspension Technology) and Uni-Q technology, the KHT 3000 series produces clearer, crisp vocals, has higher audio levels and negligible distortion at peak volume. KEF's Uni-Q technology implements aerospace technology to mount the tweeter in the center of the bass cone, creating a single point source sound giving distinct identity to each audio wave produced. The SST seals the gap between Uni-Q drivers moving midrange cone and tweeter to produce clearer dialogue quality. The 3000 series retails at Rs 95,000 (all inclusive) for a package of five satellite speakers and a powered subwoofer. KEF product ranges are exclusively retailed through PRO FX owned showrooms, currently operational in Bangalore, Mumbai and Chennai.

Havell's launch ZHLS wires

Havell's India has recently launched Life Guard Wires that are basically identified as Zero Halogen Low Smoke (ZHLS) wires. The breakthrough on life guard wires has come about as a result of the efforts of Havell's R&D centre at its cable plant in Alwar, Rajasthan. A specially engineered insulating compound has been developed by the company, which is free of halogens and has a very high oxygen index, making these wires low smoke and non-toxic in case of fire. The wires have superior protection against propagation of flame, which enables to retard fire from spreading. The product is non-toxic and thereby environment-friendly. The company offers these wires at the price of its existing FRLS wires.

Life Guard wires can be used in all wiring requirements especially in high human traffic areas like shopping malls, hotels, hospitals, office buildings, etc.
