The Taco Maker enters India
Set to have 500 outlets in three years

The Taco Maker, the Mexican Quick Service
Restaurant (QSR), has set its foot in India with its first three outlets in Delhi.
The fast food chain plans to open at least 500 franchise outlets in next three
years.

for The Taco Maker in India, says, "We are firmly seated as a leader in the
Mexican QSR segment of an international franchise system worldwide. The Taco Maker
is known for its fresh, high quality, low calorie and flavorsome Mexican fast
food that will suit the Indian palate."
Its next target
is Mumbai followed by B-category cities. "Our offerings include the Crisp
Tacos to filling Burritos and Enchiladas, moving over to the perfect amigo treat
of Nachos & Salsa to crispy fries." explains Ravish Mehra, director of
H K Hospitality.
The company also holds master franchise
rights of the US-based bakery chain Cinnabon, and the American coffee brand Barnie's
Coffee and Tea Co. "We will launch the first Cinnabon store in India this
year, and the first Barnie's outlet in Noida has already had a soft launch,"
informs Mehra.
According to industry sources, the other
international brands, which are coming to India includes Pita Pazzaz, Candy Bouquet,
Carvel Ice Cream, Pizzas Of 8, Cinnamonster, Java Jo'z, Jumpin' Juice & Java,
Big Apple Bagels, Maui Wowi Hawaiian, Jollibee, Blimpie, Chesters, Figaro Pizza
and Hungry Howie's Pizza. All these companies are seeking master franchisees in
India.
