B2B forum evokes good response

As South Asia's largest 'business to business' hospitality forum, and featuring close to 300 domestic and international exhibitors, HospitalityWorld brings together the finest gathering yet of the industry's most prestigious companies, institutions and leading professionals.

HospitalityWorld, a fully owned and driven Indian Express group initiative, is being held under the corporate banner of Express Hospitality (formerly Express Hotelier & Caterer). To be held from January 23-26, 2006, at the Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai, the single biggest USP of this event is the common business platform where decision makers and purchase heads and influencers from the hospitality industry converge at this event. The single biggest beneficiary of the event will be the HospitalityWorld exhibitors.

The Indian Express group foresees this platform shaping up as a whole new model for business exchange among industry leaders and leading Indian and international hospitality companies. According to Mr Pradeep Gopalan, Chief Manager, Hospitality & Travel group, “HospitaliyWorld 2006 has so far showed a 30 per cent growth in exhibition space and is expected to see a significant rise in visitors too. This year we have entered into strategic alliances with Association of Indian Cleaning Industry (AICI), Indian Federation of Culinary Associations (IFCA) and the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA). It is due to these strategic alliances that we have Dedicated Pavilions for Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Energy Zone.”

Other theme pavilions include Commercial Catering Equipment, Food and Beverage, Interior & Design, Engineering & Technology, Housekeeping and Hotel Management Schools.

Concurrently being held are three business seminars titled 'Hospitality Franchise India,' 'Smart Housekeeping Seminar' and 'Engineers’ Conclave on Energy Efficiency in Hotels'. And the second edition of The Great Indian Culinary Challenge.
