82.45 Per Cent Average Occupancy In January For Mumbai's Five-Stars
Five-star category hotels of Mumbai are rocking as never before, according to an occupancy report of January 2005. The report, which Express Hotelier & Caterer obtained through its sources, indicate an average occupancy of 82.45 per cent for five-stars in the metropolis.

Ramanashree To Enter Budget Segment With Red Mount
Ramanashree Group of Hotels is launching a new chain in the budget segment under the brand name Red Mount. The first hotel, to be set up in Bangalore, will be operational by end of February 2005.

Tourism Ministry Offers Finance Scheme For Budget Hotels
The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) has come up with a financial assistance scheme for hoteliers in the budget segment, apart from writing letters to the urban development ministry and railways ministry to make lands available on long lease and at subsidised rates to interested investors in this segment.
