Water Blue At Waterfield, Mumbai

Water Blue Co, owners of Pot Pourri, Melting Moments and Lemon Grass, and MPD Films are launching a first of its kind Southeast Asian fine dining restaurant in Mumbai. The opening which is scheduled for mid-September will entail an investment of Rs three crores by the newly formed company.

The lifestyle restaurant will be situated on Waterfield Road, Bandra and will measure 8000 square feet, with a 2000 square foot bar, a 115-seater glass dome green house and a private dining area to seat up to 40.

The experimental restaurant would have an a-la-carte menu along with a tasting menu with an average charge of Rs 650 to Rs 1000 per person.Nitin Tandon, managing director, Water Blue Co says, "We haven't named the restaurant as yet, but we want to experiment with the concept of having various south Asian cuisines put together."
