Established in 1970 King Metal Works manufactures and exports a diversified range of hollow ware, flatware and fabricated products of sheet metal. The company also caters to the hospitality industry with hotel and restaurant ware in stainless steel, kitchenware in aluminium and brass, tableware, serving ware, bar ware etc. The company is ISO 9002 certified and has five production facilities within Mumbai. The company has lately added a whole new range of products to the existing 800 products it offers.

"The designs are created while keeping in mind the needs of restaurateurs and

professional chefs using them. “We use contemporary and classic styles with European and American influences to enable the product to maintain its global standing. We also make customised products as per the specifications required by the buyer," says Tejash Shah,partner,King Metal.

At present the company is promoting the range of products through the direct and indirect sales through an all India distributor network. Accordingly, the direct sales activity will be executed through offering the various products as sales promotions to valued customers of various soft drink and liquor manufacturers through out the country. "The all India distributors sales will cater to primarily three to five star hotels, pubs, lounge bars etc. Our marketing strategy will be to convert the export to local sales in the ratio of 8.2 : 1.8, however, the direct and indirect local sales through the network will reach a ratio of 7.0 : 3.0 in the next five to six years," added Shah

The company plans to develop the distributor network by expanding it in the four metros and each the capital city's of all states barring Jammu and Kashmir and some of the North East states and all the 'B' category cities in the country.
